DIY Training Opportunity - Not to be Missed
Are you an Emerging Artist interested in developing your inclusive practice?
DIY are looking for new Supporters as we expand our work with Adults and Young People with Learning Disabilities as part of an exciting new three year ‘Passing the Baton’ programme being funded by the Community Lottery.
We are particularly interested in hearing from D/deaf disabled artists and artists from a Black, Asian, Minority Ethnic background or People Of Colour.
We are developing our pool of Associate Artists and Supporters, and as part of this are offering a unique Training and Development Opportunity for Emerging Artists who are interested in learning more about DIY’s models of shared leadership and inclusive practice.
Our Training and Development Opportunity includes:
A free full day’s training on Shared Leadership and Inclusive Practice with DIY Company members on Friday 22 March, from 10.30am to 2pm. The Training will take place at at the Angel Centre, 1 St Phillip’s Place, Salford M3 6FA. Lunch will be provided.
Opportunities to shadow sessions, work alongside company members and receive bespoke one to one mentoring from DIY Practitioners and our Access Coordinator.
The opportunity to be added to DIY’s pool of Associate Artists and Supporters.
