TiPP - Creative Producer in East Lancs

In April 2006 TiPP was confirmed as ongoing Creative Producer in Colne Primet High School as part of Creative Partnerships in East Lancashire. Our remit is to work with Primet High school to develop new ways of creative teaching and learning. Projects have included: • Dance workshops with Afrocats - looking at issues of identity and music, as well as providing a teaching resource for the PE department • 'Portrait of Primet' a mapping project with year 9 Geography students which mapped their own school in terms of pride / shame, fun / boredom and safety / danger. The information gathered was put together onto a dvd and will be used to inform further work in the school as well as provide the basis for a PHSE resource for new Year 7 pupils. • We are currently working on developing a creative steering group of staff and pupils who will be developing ideas for projects in 2006 /7
