Artist Database

About the Database | Browse & Search | Artist Registration

This database holds information on a wide range of artists and creative organisations who work with young people at risk of (re)offending in the North West. The aim of the database is to provide succinct and accessible information for organisations who want to work with artists and use creative practices in their provision for young people.

The database has been commissioned by TiPP on behalf of Arts Council England, North West.

The database is divided into two levels:

Entry Point
Artists and creative organisations who are less experienced in this combination area of work but have a desire to gain more experience in the field, i.e. they may be very experienced as an artist, but have less experience of working with this particular client group.

Experienced
Artists and creative organisations who have run and / or project managed upwards of three projects using arts with young people at risk of (re)offending. Potential employers should note that this category encompasses a wide range of people, from individual artists who have been involved in the work for a year, through to creative organisations who may employ a number of people and have existed for many years.

Please click here to search the database.

The database is free to join and is open to any artist from any creative background. If you would like to sign up, please click here to access the registration form.

Registered artists/organisations may login here to review their database entries.

Database Safety
TiPP undertake to read and assess the artist information before it is put on the web site. However, we would strongly advise any organisation wishing to employ someone from the database to carry out their own reference / security procedures before confirming any contract of employment to ensure the safety of their client group.
